The Room in the Nest is located at the top of our drive past our Barn and garden. (We live in Wheastsheaf Barn). When you arrive you can park on the drive outside our Barn (in the space next to the hose pipe and in front of the air conditioning unit on the wall)

If you would like a car charge please book when making your room reservation. There is an additional £15 charge to use the charger, for a 6 hour charge. It is a 7.4kw charger and will turn on between 11.30pm and 5.30am. You should receive up to 44kw overnight. You will need to use your Type 2 charging lead. If you have booked a car charge, please park next to the car charger.

Once parked, walk up the drive towards the field and gate and you will see the private entrance to the Nest on the right nest to the gate. (Double green gates).

Access details will be sent to you before your arrival date.

Yes, we are on Irnham Road, so it is a lovely direct walk along a quiet country road. You can walk along the road or the footpath (which adjacent to the road).

If you are walking back from Irnham, the path starts just past the last house in Irnham (on the left) or if you are walking to Irnham, it is on the right approx 50m on the right past the Corby Glen Sign.

It’s about 2.5 miles (approx 4,500 steps!) and takes about 40-45 mins. If you don’t fancy the walk Taxis are available for the short journey from Corby Glen Taxis , call Jay on 07403 802 720 – it’s advisable to book in advance.

Yes, the room has its own private courtyard and there is a security loop fastened into the brick wall you can lock your bike to. We may also be able to store your bike(s) in our secure shed. Please email us to check availability stay@roominthenest.uk

The village has The Woodhouse Arms and the Fighting Cocks. Both of these are a 5 minute walk. There is the Chomley Arms in Button Coggles which is a 25 minute walk directly through the fields from the back of the room. The Griffin Inn in Irnham is a 40-45 minute walks along Irnham Road.

It is a 7.4kw charger, so you will receive up to 44kw overnight, The charger is attached to the house, so please park in the space next to it. You will need use your type 2 connector.
